Beauty linked to consciousness from natural ingredients, organic treatments or makeup without parabens. What can you do to be green? Lifestyle eco-friendly is increasingly in vogue, from organic food in local markets for sustainable fashion, through the natural cosmetic products. But, what is the difference between the natural ingredients and those that are organic? What is the beauty of green as effective as the cosmetic usual? We give you the answer.
Mother nature provides us with a wealth of natural ingredients that are beneficial to our skin (from large antioxidant others that promote the cell regeneration, to those that bring you vitamins that improve the synthesis of collagen). However, there are key differences between natural cosmetics and organic: cosmetics that are purely organic does not contain synthetic fragrances, dyes, or preservatives, and must have its origin in the organic crops.
We must differentiate them from other cosmetic-related that combine natural ingredients with advanced technology or parabens, for example. How have you evolved in these products? For years, the organic cosmetics could cause, appoint any reaction, certain allergies or irritation due to the use of essential oils, as was happening in some cases. However, the sector has evolved a lot and now the best products of this segment are designed precisely for these most sensitive of skin.
We have created formulas all-natural, adapted to all types of problems, providing organic solutions to dry skin or excessive fat, to cite two examples. In addition, each time the range is broader, providing products that are tailored to our needs, type of skin or, why not, possible intolerances. However, experts recommend that you “try the product before in the neck to know if it produces any side effects. If not, you can apply with peace of mind on your face,” says Vanessa Melendez, Training Manager of Perfumeries Douglas Spain.
The most potent ingredients
If we think of the great variety of plants or flowers, almost all of them have positive effects on our skin. Among the most popular, we can find the aloe vera, a product multitask that contains an ample amount of vitamins, minerals and micro-nutrients. It is perfect for sensitive and dry skin, and very powerful before possible irritations.
Also calendula is a great anti-inflammatory and perfect for skin subjected to stress, by activating the process of regeneration. On the other hand, the green tea is rich in antioxidants and neutralizes free radicals, softening the skin at the same time.
Last, but not least, the highlights are the almond oil, which has effect booster and creates a protective barrier, as well as being a great moisturizer for those with drier skins.
